NP-80 belongs to the polymer type bonding agent, which is an oligomer synthesized by free radical copolymerization of nitrile acrylamide as a functional monomer. It has the advantages of good compatibility and dispersibility with azide adhesive, and its molecular structure has a uniform distribution of nitrile groups, which can efficiently adsorb on the surface of nitroamine oxidant particles. The free hydroxyl groups in the molecule can react with the curing agent to form a cross-linked network structure, providing excellent bonding performance and endowing the propellant with good mechanical properties, especially excellent low-temperature mechanical properties.
